Stuart grew up in the family construction business where he worked until graduating summa cum laude from GA State University with a B.A. in Marketing. Following graduation, he spent five years building his own corporate meeting planning company before pursuing the education and licensing necessary to become a Financial Advisor. After two successful years with New York Life, Stuart went to work for New England Financial where, in addition to his own practice, he served as Director of Sales, Training and Compliance. Stuart was hired as Regional Director of Sales & Distribution for Entaire Global Companies in 2008, managing 800 independent financial advisors and growing his territory by more than 300%.
In 2010, Stuart joined NFSG as a Financial Advisor and President. He specializes in developing personalized financial strategies for business owners, doctors, professionals and executives. Stuart employs a comprehensive planning approach rather than a transactional approach and enjoys working with clients who incorporate family-minded values into the planning process. His areas of specialization include asset management, income planning, tax-advantaged retirement planning as well as specific strategies that allow business owners to leverage their revenues to provide for retirement. One vital component of his practice is developing strategic partnerships with CPAs, attorneys, and other advisors which result in collaborative solutions for their clients’ needs.
Due to his depth of experience and expertise, Stuart serves as a consultant to other NFSG advisors across the Southeast on advanced cases design related to Pension Alternatives, Captives, Premium Finance, and Business & Estate Planning.
Over the years Stuart has been the recipient of many industry awards including the 2014 President’s Club Award* and is active in local professional organizations. He is a Board Member of the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Johns Creek is home for Stuart, his wife, Katherine and their three children who are members of North Point Community Church, where he regularly serves. He volunteers his time at both the North Georgia Oncology Center at Kennestone Hospital and the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory. As a cancer survivor, Stuart knows the importance of a support system for those undergoing treatment and each year he also participates in “Relay for Life”, a fund-raising event for the American Cancer Society.
