Previous career history includes a Financial Professional with MassMutual Perimeter, Equitable/AXA Advisors, owner of a Fine Art business and a Vice President & Manager of Strategic Planning and Credit Card Operations at HSBC Bank.
Carolyn formally served as President of Fayette County Women in Business Chapter, a sub-chapter of Southern Crescent Women in Business Inc (SCWIB). SCWIB support women in business and women owned businesses in Fayette County GA and throughout the Southern Crescent.
Carolyn has an MBA in Finance from Canisius College and a BS in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo.
Carolyn currently serves as VP on the Board of Fine Arts and Crafts Entrepreneurs (FAACE). She received a Black Achievers in Industry Award from the 1490 Enterprise Organization and a former Board Member of SUNY Alumni and The Boys and Girls Club of America.
A lifelong marriage to her rival High School sweetheart. They have two adult children and six adorable grandchildren. Carolyn enjoys sketching, painting, fine art collecting, home & garden design, comedy, mystery, and science fiction movies.
